Introduction
Ultrawave supplied a 265 litre ultrasonic cleaning system to Docking Engineering for cleaning water radiators and coolers.
Formed in 1984, Docking Engineering specialise in a range of aluminium cooling products for motorsport and special vehicle use. Located in Silverstone, their racing component division continues to design and develop for an expanding customer base.
Challenges
Prior to working with Ultrawave, Docking Engineering used ultrasonic subcontractors to clean components for their customers.
As their customer base expanded and their services got more popular, the cost of subcontract ultrasonic cleaning also increased. Docking Engineering identified an opportunity to purchase their own ultrasonic cleaning system. Allowing them to offer an in-house service, cutting costs, increase revenue and giving them full control of their process.
The Solution
Docking Engineering considered several suppliers but chose Ultrawave as the top option. Ultrawave’s ultrasonic system met the company’s exact requirements and offered competitive pricing.
“The ultrasonic cleaning system from Ultrawave is easy to use and cleans to an exceptional standard. It ensures thorough cleaning of both internal and external surfaces of the equipment. Ensuring that the services we offer to our customers are of the highest standard”. Says Stewart Rogers, Production Manager from Docking Engineering.
“There is no need to waste time programming the ultrasonic cleaning system. It sets up automatically with the required time and temperature. We simply add the equipment that needs cleaning, and it does the rest.” Says Stewart.
Since using Ultrawave Ultrasonic Cleaning System. Docking Engineering have been able to offer ultrasonic cleaning as an additional service to their customers at a competitive price. Which has significantly increased their profit and revenue.
The team finds the tank easy to use and strongly praises the results. So are their customers who keep coming back to use the service.
